Peter has had a diversified career working at a senior level for several multinational, co-founding and building a company and running small and medium-sized business. While living in the U.S., Peter has substantial experience in Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
His career started in the 1980s as a partner at the international management consulting firm Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Whyman). In 1996, Peter co-founded COPC Incl, which grew from a start-up to the world’s leading authority on operations management and performance improvement for customer service. At COPC, Peter led the company’s Performance Improvement Practice where he conducted assessments of 300+ operations in 30 countries.
From 2011-2022 had various executive jobs including President of North America and Global Quality for Aegis Ltd (a global BPO) and EVP Operational Excellence for Teleperformance, the world’s largest global BPO.
In addition to extensive training/teaching experience from his business positions, Mr. Bloom has been an Adjunct Professor of Business at University at Buffalo where he taught Operations Management and Strategic Planning in the MBA and Executive MBA programs.
Peter has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA Summa Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts. Peter has been a competitive distance athlete for 50 years, running for the University of Massachusetts andd completing 12 marathons. Today Peter competes in triathlons and is an avid swimmer/cyclist.
